Air conditioning is very important for stop-and-go activities such as ski mountaineering, alpine mountaineering or climbing. Phases of intense physical activity are often followed by phases in which there is a risk of hypothermia.Our thermoregulating Ortles Hybrid TirolWool® Celliant® jacket has been designed to meet the specific insulation needs of the different body zones during highly dynamic activities in cold conditions while it is ideal for rough, alpine activities thanks to the robust Durastretch inserts. Hybrid design meets hybrid insulation - TirolWool® Celliant® is our in-house developed, lightweight insulation fabric that combines innovative polyester fibers reinforced with thermoactive minerals with wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep. The heat given off by the body is absorbed and converted into infrared radiation, which is stored and reflected and thus keeps you warm for longer. TirolWool® Celliant® is waterproof, breathable and keeps you comfortably warm even when it's wet. The adapted, rear-adjustable, insulated hood provides additional protection. And since the jacket can be packed up to save space, it fits in any backpack and can be worn under any hardshell jacket.
